This weekend Rob and I attended an open house for one of the OC's newest wedding venues: The Villa San Juan Capistrano.  For all you OC brides and grooms who dream of celebrating the sacrament of Marriage at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, then The Villa San Juan Capistrano is the place for you.  The Villa is literally across the street from the mission.

The Villa which was built in 1920 has a rustic and very romantic feel.  It has many fun little locations for great wedding photo ops. We probably could have posted tons more photos, but here's a few to share.

What are you waiting for? Check it out!

The floral design in the photos below were provided by the ever amazing and fabulous:  Square Root.

The lovely and delicious cupcakes were provided by: Frostings Cupcakes .

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Murietta, Jason and Tamara took the plunge at an unbelievable location. We had the privelege to shoot their day and it was major fun times! The location was quite remote, and we had to take a fun windy road to get there. Large signs led the way to their venue. The property itself is gorgeous; we couldn't have asked for a better landscape or backdrop to work with!

When we hung out with Jason as he suited up, we couldn't help but notice "I believe in a thing called love" by the Darkness being looped over and over again on his iPhone. It was cute! The property owner is close friends with Jason's parents and happened to be a floral designer as well. Check out the bouquet!

We're experimenting with textures on a few pics so comment us on whether you love it or hate it. =)

Kira:

I don't like the texture on the last one. The sky is very beautiful and blue to add anything to it, especially "old film" look because the picture itself is way too bright to look old. It might work if you make it black and white or sepia, but I really don't like it on this version. I think the picture is such a nice shot it can stand alone.

Michelle + Mark = The Valdez Family

3 down, 5 more to go. Michelle is the 3rd Tincopa daughter to get married within the past year! What an exciting and festive time for parents Luis and Teresa! Michelle and Mark have been together almost as long as I've been with Jessica. They have two cute lil children (both of which are on our website and blog). Shortly after Sean was born, it was decided that they wanted to wed and Jessica was all OVER it. With only 5 weeks, she and Kerry Pulverman of de Luxe Weddings & Events, put together this small soiree at a beautiful venue called The Pacific Edge Villa in Laguna Beach. Believe it or not, but this wedding was only 4 digits - DIY weddings are always tough but it came together wonderfully. Mark and Michelle, congratulations and we wish you a wonderful future!

We want to thank all that have contributed to making this a reality:

Luis and Teresa, Hong, Luis Jr & Lexi (especially for the custom sandbox), Melissa, Natalie, Jen, and Tina, Cecilia, Laura, Kevin, Priscilla, and Chris Botelho from it Takes Two Photo!

Also, a special shout out goes out to these vendors - you MADE the day!

Luke from Premiere Events - Luke rocks! He is an AWESOME MC and DJ! Luke comes well prepared and can make a reception bounce like no other! He is tasteful, talented, and great at thinking on the fly, a necessary trait in this industry.

Leanna from Bella Blooms - Leanna's fashionable floral designs and ability to work with budgets prompted us to return as her client. She's our local favorite because she accommodated us so well!

Hector from Cakeland Bakery - This is the 5th time Cakeland has made a cake for the Tincopa family. Cakeland has been our baker for all three weddings, and they have not dissappointed. They have dozens of flavors to choose from and make cakes the way we love them... Moist! Best of all, Hector, the owner of Cakeland, comes from a very humble background, and while other competitors are charging $1500 for a three tier cake, he can make one EVEN better for surprisingly less!

Rebecca Peng from The Pacific Edge Hotel - We were introduced to Rebecca and the rest of the Pacific Edge event staff at a recent mixer. Needless to say we were impressed! The Pacific Edge is a beautiful location, and we hope to return to photograph there soon!

The Pacific Edge is located at:

647 South Coast Highway,
Laguna Beach, CA 92651

Kerry Pulverman from de Luxe Weddings and Events - two words.... LOVE HER. She genuinely enjoys wedding coordination and design. She comes prepared and is very detail oriented. This wedding would not have come together as well as it did without her and her team managing to setup in world record time! Two more words.... Effective executioner. We can't be any happier to be friends and colleagues with her.

Here is the preview: Stay tuned! PS... comment us on what you think about the second to last picture. We're playing with some textures!
PPS. Thanks to Chris for capturing the last photo in this post for us while we were up as part of the bridal party!

Check out this custom sandbox my brother made for the Escort Cards.  It's in their wedding colors and everything.  If you want a custom Escort Display shoot us an email, he'll hook you up!
